A culinary journey around the world
This year's festival proudly showcases the culinary artistry of four captivating regions: Southeast Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Mediterranean. Each region offers a unique culinary landscape, brimming with distinct flavors, techniques, and traditions.
Savoring the spices of southeast asia
Embark on a sensory expedition through the fragrant kitchens of Southeast Asia. Indulge in the fiery curries of Thailand, where lemongrass, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves create an explosion of flavor. Savor the delicate broth of Vietnamese Pho, a comforting classic enhanced by aromatic herbs and rice noodles. Don't miss the opportunity to sample Malaysia's succulent satay, marinated meat skewers grilled to perfection. Southeast Asia's vibrant culinary scene, fueled by its 650 million diverse population, contributes significantly to the global food economy, representing a rich tapestry of flavors influenced by centuries of cultural exchange and innovation. This year, we have over 15 vendors representing this dynamic region, each offering unique and authentic dishes.
Exploring the vibrant flavors of latin america
Latin America's culinary landscape is as diverse as its geography. From Mexico's complex mole sauces, rich in chocolate and spices, to Peru's refreshing ceviche, a dish of marinated seafood, expect a whirlwind of tastes and textures. Experience the sweetness of Cuban flan, a creamy caramel custard, or the savory warmth of Argentinian empanadas, filled with delicious meats or vegetables. With a population exceeding 650 million, Latin America boasts a vibrant culinary heritage, shaped by its rich history and diverse indigenous cultures. We are excited to feature 12 exceptional Latin American food stalls, showcasing the incredible diversity of the region's gastronomy. Look for options that cater to vegan and vegetarian preferences—a growing trend across the region.
Discovering the rich culinary heritage of africa
Africa's culinary traditions are as varied and rich as its landscapes. Experience the warmth of Ethiopian stews, flavorful combinations of meats and vegetables served with injera, a spongy flatbread. Sample the aromatic tagines of Morocco, slow-cooked stews infused with exotic spices and herbs. From the hearty stews of West Africa to the flavorful seafood of East Africa, this year's festival offers a remarkable exploration of African cuisine. With over 1.4 billion people, Africa’s diverse cultures are deeply reflected in its rich culinary offerings. We’ve curated a selection of 10 incredible African food vendors for you to explore, each bringing their unique perspective and authentic flavors.
Savoring the Sun-Drenched flavors of the mediterranean
The Mediterranean diet, renowned for its health benefits, is celebrated at our festival with a dazzling array of fresh ingredients and simple, flavorful dishes. Savor the simplicity of Greek salads, bursting with fresh vegetables and creamy tzatziki. Enjoy Italy's hearty pasta dishes, bursting with flavor and showcasing the country's rich agricultural heritage. Indulge in Spain's vibrant tapas, small plates designed for sharing and conversation. This region, home to over 500 million people, boasts a culinary history shaped by centuries of cultural exchange and trade. We've brought together 8 fantastic Mediterranean food stalls, each showcasing the best of their region's culinary traditions. Many offer gluten-free and vegetarian options to cater to all dietary preferences.
